Rediweld Traffic works with Westminster City Council for the Notting Hill Carnival

A scheme by Westminster City Council and their service providers, Westminster TranServ, enabled Rediweld to offer an alternative solution to the temporary islands that need to be removed yearly for the Notting Hill Carnival.

A trial installation was very successful and proved to the City Council that RediPave Traffic Island was the ideal solution and was likely to reduce maintenance since the islands can withstand any impact from the London Traffic.

Since the trial, Westminster TranServe have installed a further 8 RediPave Traffic Islands, with the new granite effect, which we can now offer for conservation areas.

RediPave Traffic Islands are ideal for locations where you may require removal for an event like a carnival, marathon, or cycle race but gives the flexibility of being a permanent solution as well.
