Kerb Orca – Modular Cycle Lane Separator for Safe Segregation

The Kerb Orca is a modular cycle lane separator providing horizontal kerbing for safe, sustainable cycle lane segregation and effective traffic separation systems.

The Kerb Orca is a horizontal cycle lane separator designed as a continuation of kerbing for effective cycle lane segregation. Unlike the Wand Orca, it provides separation without vertical wands, offering a simple, modular alternative for longer runs of cycle protection

Kerb Orca units with pole cones forming a protected cycle lane on a residential road.

Kerb Orca – Creating Safer, More Sustainable Cycle Networks with Ease

With a splayed face on the cycle side and a half-battered profile on the vehicle side, the Kerb Orca acts as a familiar cycle kerb for drivers while protecting cyclists with a safer, more visible traffic separation line. Built from modular end and middle sections, it adapts easily to site layouts, with typical installations from 2 m to 10 m.

Manufactured in the UK from recycled rubber, the Kerb Orca forms part of Rediweld’s innovative lane separator kerb system, providing sustainable and adaptable traffic calming solutions for urban cycling schemes.
