Rediweld worked with Leicester City Council on a road safety scheme to tackle speeding motorists.
The scheme itself had a high profile with many of the local residents calling the Council to put traffic calming measures in place due to the number of speeding motorists using the street as a cut-through and going too fast.
Rediweld was able to offer RediPave Traffic Islands and Traficop Speed Cushions which would reduce the speed to 20mph. These products offer a cost effective solution and minimum traffic management costs due to the quick installation and minimum disruption to local residents.
Upon completion the site has been visited by City Councillors, the Leicester West MP and featured in the local press.
